Graduation
Transcript & Diploma Clearance (and more) Explained
You've come to the end of your academic journey at Andrews University. Congratulations! It's an exciting time with lots to do. This page will address the financial aspect of leaving; your account, loans, transcripts, and diplomas.
Accounts
Ideally, your Andrews University accounts will be cleared upon leaving. However, we understand that this isn't always the case. If you will not be able to clear your accounts, you will need to complete a Collections Exit Form. After 90 days with no enrollment activity, accounts are turned over to our Collections Manager, Rhonda Peak. She will work with you to answer your questions, explain the collection process, and create a payment plan that you can live with.

Loans
Loan exit counseling is a part of the clearance process for transcripts and diplomas. You will receive an email and an information packet from our office regarding your loans 2-3 weeks before the end of the semester. You will need to complete exit counseling for any and all federal loans you have taken while at Andrews before you can be cleared for transcripts and diplomas.
Transcripts & Diplomas
University policy, as stated in the Academic Buletin, is that students may not receive a transcript or diploma under the following circumstances:
- owing on a student or housing account, including payment plans not yet due
- being in default on a government loan
- needing to complete loan exit counseling
When you have determined that you are cleared for a transcript and/or diploma, you may request them at the Academic Records Transcript page.
